Venturing Adviser's Key Requirements

Tenure

Complete three years of registered tenure as an Advisor within a five year period.

Note: Tenure used to earn one key or award cannot be used to earn another key or award.

Training

Complete Venturing Fast Start
Complete Adult Venturing Leader Basic Training, No. 33491B
Conduct crew officers' seminars for your crew.
Conduct at least one Venturing Leadership Skills Course for your crew.

Performance

At least twice during these three years, serve as the Advisor of a crew earning the National Quality Unit Award.
Have a crew open house each year.
Attend at least four roundtable meetings each year.
